Just like the title says. What is your prediction for the most competitive army under the 6th ed rules?

Tyranids 3000 points

Necrons, they're meant to be a hybrid between 5th or 6th (I read that somewhere) so they'll start out somewhere near top powerwise, that said with every new codex they'll probably slip behind the rest of the other armies

Step 1: Get a dartboard
Step 2: Put the names of all codexes on slips of paper and staple them to dartboard
Step 3: Throw darts at dartboard
About as accurate as any speculation right now, since we really know nothing about 6th edition.

I figured by now we should be getting a few rumors confirmed.

If we do get assault after DS then Daemons will get a huge power boost. Not nearly enough to put them to top tier, but Bloodletters will become quite scary.

That would elevate BA from slightly OP to impossible to play against.

Out of context, but the leaked rules state that if you are within that range you get shot first after you DS.

LoneLictor on thread about an ork choking the Emperor:
LoneLictor wrote:I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.
Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space. |
