Q. When firing the Death Ray and hitting an enemy unit, must the Tesla Destructor also fire at that same unit. As far as I can read it you are able to hit one unit with the Ray, whilst firing the Destructor at another but have I been playing this wrong?

Quotes and whatnot would be appreciated.

I believe the tesla destructor just has to fire at one of the targets on the line. Could be wrong on that though, hopefully somebody can back me up on that or correct me.

IT says in the codex that the tesla must target one of the units hit by the ray, from memory.

Nos is right, the codex specifically states that the Doom Scythe's other weapon must target a unit that was hit by the Death Ray.

It's actually better to fire the DR first, because then you can pick which target to fire the TD at, assuming the beam isn't three inches long.
