I need a bunch of wolves, but can't really find any for a really reasonable price (closest is the wargs...sort of) but they don't look wolfish enough for my tastes...maybe I should get less obscure tastes...
I did make an ultramarine army though...looks nice lol

What kind of wolves? Are you talking Fenrisians, or Thunderwolves? And what kind of base?
For TWC, I used to use the Heroclix cyber-wolf models - three of them for $12 or so.
Other than that, I'm not sure. If you don't care too much about them being actual wolves, I used to use D&D Miniatures for my Wolves, just using Dire Badgers ($8 for 4).

What's wrong with the Goblin Wolf Rider box? Still quite reasonable at £20.00, so £2 a Wolf even without factoring in the Goblin bits, which can be sold on, swapped, put in your bits box etc.

Considering how many folks have a TON of leftover wolves from their SW and the new fenrisian wolves just came out... I know that I would trade 10-15 of my old goblin wolves for the 5-pack of new Fenrisian Wolves.
You can also get 5 old goblin wolves for $15 direct from GW:
