I have a problem here.... how do orders work with ig in this mission ?
Is it issued to a single model, or to the squad despite the fact that it can be spread out across the map ?

Seeing as how everyone becomes an IC then I would say you order the IC and if he is attached to other ICs then they benefit.

They dont count as IC, they cant band together in a huge IC squad of sorts.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Also, could you use a necron lord in kill team as they don't use a slot on the force organisation chart.

No, as a Necron Lord is part of the Royal Court, and you must have an Overlord to have a Royal Court. Also, the Royal Court counts as an HQ choice even though it doesn't use a slot on the FOC.

Usually, in Kill Team, things that have an effect on the unit the IC joins, now can affect any model within 6" of the model with the rule.

Orders are a lot less powerful in kill teams. Transports are worse, as they can only ever transport one model and any attached IC.
