Just have a quick question, what are the best tournament scenarios would you recommend for a 3 round warhammer tournament at 2400pts.

We don't want them to be too focused on ETC style of play, more beer and pretzels, and also we don't plan to have any restrictions in regards to what you can take except no special characters.

So what's your opinion?

Pick random major, well-traveled/tested GT with lots of attendees, hiijack mission packet, assign battle points. Or pick one that already has battle points assigned.

Variations in each available packet out there make for preferences one way or another; you can't really go wrong with any.

Sometimes best to avoid anything too wonky, as beer and pretzels can quickly turn into anger if a weird scenario screws someone over from the get-go.

Nothing wrong with watchtower if you aren't a terrible player.

So every player who dislikes the watchtower is a terrible player?

Your blanket statement says a lot about you.

I always wish their were more multiple objective based games... Like 6-7 spread out objectives: whoever holds the most wins after 6 turns wins. But then again that detracts from the "mush our minis to the middle" lists, and plays more toward last edition playstyles of more smaller units

Fantasy: 4000 - WoC, 1500 - VC, 1500 - Beastmen
40k: 2000 - White Scars
Hordes: 5/100 - Circle of Orboros
