Let's assume we have a space marine tactical squad with a Rhino as a dedicated transport.
Can i choose at the beginning of the game to deploy the Rhino empty and place the squad on reserve?

In other words, a squad and the transport are counted as one unit or two when deciding about reserves?

Separate units, so the Transport (or squad) can start in Reserve with the other on the table.
