Here is my Contemptor 'Decimus'. It has been in the gallery for a while now, but I just realized this is the place to post if you want some constructive criticism.
It has Puppet's War shoulder pads, gatling arm, head, and power weapon (most of these parts had to be modified slightly to fit what I had planned) and some scratch additions made from plasti-card.
The base was carved from plaster of paris. If you want to see more images just search contemptor in the gallery

The head is cool and totally goes with the design of the contemptor which is very classic. The spear, not so much. It just is way to skinny for a machine of that power, and looks too small in comparison. I think you would have done better using the arm the furioso librarian uses that looks like a spear. But otherwise its super awesomestuff!

Gotta point out though, that the head is a classical Greek hoplite helmet, not Roman.

Thanks for the responses! I will keep in mind not to show any more unpainted stuff in this forum, just put it there to make the conversion work visible. And my bad on the Greek/Roman mix up, but you get where the inspiration came from. Next project will be a commander in a chariot...pulled by a bike. Thanks again for the pointers!

Looks good overall. The spear is a bit 'dinky' for a dread.

I am very glad to see the puppets war arms finally on a contemptor! They look great! Did you have any problems with them?

They work great, the only modifications I did were to add a ball joint (half of anything spherical) to the back surface for compatibility with the contemptor shoulder sockets, and to remove the large flange around the top of each shoulder. That gave them range of motion and I never liked the flange-things anyway.
