I'm finding that, on threads over 200 pages, when I click "Skip to..." I get the dakka maintenance page. I'm using an iPhone to read the site, btw. Any suggestions on what my be causing this, and/or how to rectify?

The maintenance page can only appear when a page has become cached for some reason, or the entire site is down for maintenance - not just a part of it. Clear your cache (or wait for your phone provider/ISP to clear their proxy cache) and it will resolve.
