I am making a new Space Marine Army
I would like any helpful criticism
I was thinking a lot of marines on foot might do well at this lower point level
Ironclad is kinda the tank against hordes or CC armies
It has 12 missile launchers ( Anti tank ) and 4 HB ( anti troop )
If anything can go it would prob be the Ironclad because they really shine when they are dropped not on foot

Troops:
10 man tactical
ML

Looks ok, although powerarmour spam can be done better by any other marine codex. You could make the same list with blood angels, but switch the tacticals for assault marines and ironclads for furiosos and it would be a much better list. With space wolves, swap tacticals for grey hunters, devastators for long fangs and go with thundercav + scouts over ironclads and again, you have a much better list. Even chaos does it better as they at least have lash and good troop choices.

If you want to stay vanilla, you should drop the heavy bolters for missile launchers and you should get a libby instead of the MotF as an HQ. 4 missile launchers is actually better anti-horde than 4 heavy bolters. Also, no melta = sad panda. Missile launchers are good, but S8 just won't be enough alone.

The list is also very on-dimensional, think about ways to mess with your opponent other than long range shooting. If your opponent has a capture and control objective out of LOS, he can park 10 gretchin on it, and there is nothing you can do about it. Outflankers, deepstrikers etc are needed to give some real mobility to a foot list.

Good points good points
Yeah i noticed the better options of other marines
I was thinking the Heavy bolter is a lot better against people that spread their units apart
Maybe I should drop one of the troops and pick up 3 Drop pods for my Ironclad's ( And have points left over )
That would literally rain on a gretchins parade
I did not think I would see much AV14 at this point level so I thought str 8 would do
Also if I do drop those Ironclads they are really strong at popping tanks
What powers should I use with a Libby Null zone is not nearly as strong because he prob will sit back maybe force dome and gate.. Well thanks for your advice
