Im having difficulty figuring out what size base goes with German scout platoons shown as motorcycles with side cars. Some bases are larger and have two cycles mounted on them. Some are small with one mounted. The FoW website has the kradschutzen platoons (which I can't even find in any of my books, maybe they were an early war trend) but no german motorcycle scout platoon.

For my late war tank company, Im considering using these guys but I can't figure out how to model them. Also, according to V3 they can dismount and fight, then remount. So the unit will also need models showing them on foot?

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

The standard teams are mounted two bikes to a large base while the small teams (command and the like) are modelled as one bike on a medium base. You will need to swap them for infantry models once they dismount.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Thanks. I thought this was the way it was, but the option to buy 4 bikes on individual smaller bases, in the FoW store, threw me off.

With motorcycle recon you can mount one bike on each large base to save money.
