Hello everyone! I don't often visit Dakka and never actually posted anything until now but when I saw your initiative to build community here I just had to jump in.
Anyway, I play Infinity since 2009 (almost three years now... ) and my primary army is Haqqislam and I have small Nomad force. Also I've been thinking about starting small Merovingian army (damn French girls ). Concerning my usefulness, I'm much better in fluf questions than rules but I'll give my best. Oh yes, my secret super power is starting useless threads but I'll try to restrain myself.

I stopped using it because there was rarely anyone talking. I thought about going back recently but posts are more regular on this Sub-Forum than they ever were on the IRC.

Yes, I know what you mean. Last couple of times I've checked it out it was quite lonely.

I have to say that fluff is one of things that really got me into the game (after the mandatory first reaction "oh, beautiful, new figures... (two and a half seconds of financial calculations)... must have them!). For me, the best thing in fluff is that it's rooted in reality but with enough science fiction elements to make it interesting. Also I like it because it's close to hard science fiction. No techno/magic/telepathy stuff. And also the details, names of the units and places. It's just great. I could go on and on but I should probably stop now.

No! Never stop lol. Great to have you here too. I know it's a little harder to make your own fluff but it can be done. I'm hoping to even come up with names for all my figs! Going to be a little hard for aliens! lol
