1) - old pics are marked with "created by unknown" .
Maybe it wasn't possible to pick if you created them or not when I put them up but could this be changed on those old pics to state "created by 1hadhq" like it says when I check the box of new uploads?

2) - is it possible to merge Gallerys?
Sometimes Dakka created a new one for attached to a thread pics....
- is it possible to move a pic from one gallery to another?
- is it possible to delete whole gallerys?

#2 first - You can't merge galleries, but you can move photos from one gallery to another. Just click on the gallery name to bring up a search window showing all the photos in that gallery. They will all have a drop down menu showing what gallery they are in. Just change each photo's gallery location and it will move to that gallery.

I'm pretty sure if you move all the images out a gallery it will disappear (i.e. be deleted). And of course you can change the name of a gallery and move some pics into or out of it as needed as well.


#1 - You have to do with for each individual picture. bring up any specific pic that has an unknown creator of yours and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You will see a link to notify a moderator about the image:

'Was this image made by you but uploaded by another user? Click here to send an alert to our moderators to dispute ownership'

Click on that link and in the comments box that pops up just write that this is a pic created by you that isn't properly credited. And a moderator can then go through and correct it to put you as the creator.

The attempt to move pics from one Gallery to another, was successful after a few tries, seems some pics didn't like to be moved and stayed where they are until I repeated the process over and over again till everything was moved. At first, 80% moved, then most of the rest but the last 2 resisted and moved one by one... As you said, the Gallery is gone after the last pic left.

The other thing, a lot of my first uploads have this "created by unknown" line. Luckily the time spent in the Gallery brought me to this "edit image"
function I have missed somehow before and there is the checkbox ! Yay, I don't need to waste a Mods time.
I'll get this sorted myself.

Each of the drop down boxes needs to complete before the next one will work, or as you saw, it breaks a bit. Bad interface on my part, sorry about that!

The interface isn't bad.
Things like the checkbox to mark an image as your own are a bit hidden at the bottom of the edit window and I would like to see such option moved to the pic itself beneath the disable voting checkbox if I could suggest something here.
Maybe adding tags in the edit window shouldn't return you to the pic without making any other changes made happen.
But generally its a great job and gets better.
