Hi all, not had much experiance with the metal models (im still kinda new), but my Inquisitor arrived the otherday. Now id like to remove the gun, and hopefully save it for my bitz, but the boltpistols kinda...awkward seeming to get off, so wondered if people had any advice? thanks

Hi Doc, when doing serious cutting on metal models (more than flash) It is best to use a fine toothed razor saw. These saws slice right through metal models as they are non ferrous (do not contain iron). Of course the most obvious advice is still important, there needs to be a little more patience and care into cutting metal than the softer materials.

I'd say try to get a decent Jewler's Saw for the smaller stuff.

It can fit into the little fiddly areas.
