If those are things they don't want in their town, who cares? It's their business, and it sounds like there are nearby options anyway. They already don't have any of those things, so it looks like the party was already pooped a long time ago.

Pretty sure it's called Weston, FL a city of about 60,000. In the grand scheme of things not much different, but also not Florida City.

Don't know the story myself, but Weston reminds me of Atherton, CA, which has banned quite a few different types of businesses as I recall. So, my guess is its basically rich, or relatively rich, people keeping out the riff-raff.

I read this as Florida, as in the state, banned all these things. Now that would be a politcial circus I would very much enjoy watching.
