Subject: Missing Tyranid Rules?
|
 |
Been Around the Block

I'm starting to get into Tyranid and was playing with some army builds in my army builder and kept seeing upgrade options and units that I could not find for the life of me in the codex; is it just me or am I blind?
i.e. For the Hive Tyrant
-Hive commander
-Old Adversary
-Acid Blood
-Leech Essence
Elite -
Deathleaper
Heavy-
Mawloc
Old One Eye
I usually play Necron so my friend gave me a pdf codex he had to poke around with while I decided what kind of build i wanted; which he said was the 5th edition. Is he mistaken?

You should buy the real codex. He rules you're missing are in the first half before the army list.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Army builder tells you what page number the missing special rules are on. Just mouse-over the rule.
It's a great tool, but needs an actual codex as well.
