Hi Everyone.

So in a few weeks time here in Manila we will be having a 2500 point tournament in memory of a local gamer who died in a tragic accident.

I will be playing Bretonnians. As some of the models I will be fielding were painted by the deceased I would really like to be competitive.

So...please help. Last weekend I played 2 matches with Bretonnians one at 1000pts (against ogres...lost on a 1 on 1 unit combat in last turn) and 1.5k/3k tag team against Empire and Chaos and was massacred by the third turn (damned mortars!!).

There is a really good mix of opponents, most of whom I have never played against (for general and army!).

Rules are as follows: No special characters (nerfing my green knight!), 5 different scenarios apparently testing different aspects of generalship.


So. What do I have in mind. After reading all night last night about the best way to do this, the only thing I have come up with so far that I am fairly certain about is:

20x Bowmen, plus Stakes and Braziers - 135

Oh. And this is my first tournament....

ok... then fill the 2k out with knights! ;-) lol no seriously... i tend to go with a level 4 with life... then obv your bsb... maybe another paladin and a damsel with life. fill up on kotr. your 2 trebs and your flaming bowmen... honestly dont think you can go wrong with that... just remember... its all about movement

Hey Lordjig...a couple of times I've read 2trebs...is that a limit of some description? Is there a reason why I can't have three.

Never fielded a lvl 4 wizzard......will give it a go!

yea you can only have 2 duplicates of the same rarw choice at less than 3k

youve never run a level 4?! its the key element in 90% of my armies lol
