I like the look of the lists, though I would keep the havocs in at larger games and run only two squads of obliterators.

Drop one obliterator squad or one khorne perserker squad in favor of noise marines, OR upgrade the termies to lightning claws and mos.
either way this will bring the list to something I would use.

Not really looking for advice in what to change, i'm just showcasing my list.

So far got 4 straight wins with this theme.

So how does it work with a mech opponent? Is melta guns enough without lascannons or plasma guns?

BT was footslogger and fought them at 1250...lash and plasma cannons obliterated the whole army by turn 3. I was just as shocked as my opponent honestly

IG was a mixed force at 1500 pts liek 5 tanks and tons of infantry/heavy weapons game went the distance to turn 7 i got rid of the tanks really fast and the rest of the game was just chasing down his infantry and cutting them down

SW had typical units of grey hunters and long fangs and vehicles and played them in a 2 vs 1 game where they paired up with a chaos player running a black legion with walkers, chosen and plague marines

I won by a land slide we played with all 3 missions simo but I chalk the victory up to getting super lucky and seizing the initiative. Either side was going to do some heavy damage to the other by going first, luck was on my side.

After getting 1st strike against the SW/Chaos combo it all went downhill for them from there unable to blow through my rhinos charging forward with smoke launchers and oblits popping vehicles left and right

Ended up winning that holding 2 out of 3 seize ground objectives, i held both capture and control objectives and I won on kill points 16 to 3.

Game ended turn 6. It was a 2500 game

I had 2 lash princes, suicide terms with melta (they killed defiler) 3 units of zerkers with fist in rhino, 3 units of plagues with twin plasma in rhino, and 9 oblits.

I might be way off here, but would it be better to have one squad of Havocs with all meltas, and one squad with all flamers?

Well consider that the rhino has 2 fire points only so whats the point of having 4 of the same weapon if only 2 can fire?

The way i have them set up the havoks perform well against vehicles AND hordes. I run up and i can shoot whichever 2 fit the target better.

The verdict is in on the theme, got 9 wins in a row. No draws no losses playing most of the games using Bay Area scenario (all 3 missions simo)
