Hey,

I had an AMAZING conversion idea involving these:

and

Unfortunately, they both come with Trukk kits. I don't particularly want to purchase 2 kits which I'm only going to get one of, so:

DakkaDakka, where can I get these as separate pieces?

Separate from which kit?

The Trukks or the FW parts?

Gathering the Informations.

You can't.

Forge World has moved as far away as possible from selling conversion kits and the majority of their new releases are complete kits.
Part of the reason for it is that people complained to them that "I bought X, but I didn't realize it wasn't a complete kit!" even when it was clearly marked.

So, even if I scour all over the internet, I'll have to buy 2 trukks, and one will have to be sent to the accursed bitz box?

Pretty much, unless you can find someone willing to sell the bits.

Would having a second Trukk really be so bad?

No, not really, I just don't want to be spending unnecessary amounts of money on things I probably won't use.

Could always sell it on, etc etc.

It sucks, but FW has found it best to package things rather than sell conversion kits for the most part.

Trukk kits are the converters wet dream.
You'll never go wrong having extra Trukk parts.

Buy the two kits, Sell the trukks on ebay as whole kits, buy just the bitz of what you need to make the model complete which should be the frame and the driver which is probably less than 10$ on ebay.

You can also probably sell the engine as an extra piece as the enclosed trukk front fills the same need of the engine.

i have a few of the first kit and it really made me sad to have to buy a full kit and not a conversion kit, especally when i have to pay full price + the FW kit rather than being able to buy the GW at a discount store or trade for it.
