Swarm lists never interested me in Infinity but the Kuang Shi's fluff really striked me.

The Hsien are pretty nasty, particularly if you're using to supress people while you move up your suicidal nutjobs. They'd also do well covering your Imperial Agent. Monofilament CC is really wicked, even if you don't see it used verye often.

I dunno, I'd run against it and see how I do. It could be over really fast if the wrong moves are made, but a first-turn minefield and firing lanes could do a lot to help.

Sure I'd play it. Swarms are not as great as you think. You only have one linked team at a time so you can only use it on one grop of KS. They can also be distracted with my own Impetuous guys like Pretas. I'd concentrate on a few to break links and I'd almost ignore them to go after others.

One thing I noticed is you have an extra KS controler. Is that for the smoke?

It wasn't meant to be really competitive (I don't think any of my forces intend to (way too many cool models to have time to think about competitive))

Go for it! I'm the same way. I never do tournaments. I did once and didn't like it at all. It was 40k though.

I might give it a try only when I complete my Ariadna force, my Haqqislam force and the Yu Jing force I'm planning.
Then I might try this swarm army and maybe a Nomad Force too haha
I gotta buy sceneries in between haha

You can only have 10 models per Combat Group. And a Kuang Shi Controller has control of all the models in that Combat group. So the first group has 4 Kuang Shi and a Controller. For the next 4, he needs to make a 2nd Combat Group and then add another Controller.

There's a total of 3 controllers =P

Well that's just silly.

I had a couple spare points

I would take a regular CG. That helps to hide your Lt. Also making one of your Hsien a multi-rifle would do it too. You'd have three guys that are potentially the Lt. Right now I would be able to tell right off. Can't be the Hsien because they both have an HMG, the CG all have Controlers or hacking device. So it has to be the Agent.

A friend is 95% convinced but he wants to try the gameplay first
The other one that might be interested will try it first then might jump on the boat.
