Ok so I was able to make up a list it comes up 8 pts short but it's my first attempt at 1850pt list... Honest opinion please
First list I've made over 500 trying to do something outside of predictable but atleast half decent.
I built it around the 3 special characters... Going to have catachans represent my vet squads and cadians as regular troops.

Bolt pistol, vox, either 3 sniper or GL =52

Infantry X2
GL,vox,AC, commissar = 210

Vets X2
3meltas, demo = 260

Vet
Harker,3 snipers, forward sentries, HB or AC = 180

Fast Attack
Valks X2
Rocket pods, HB spons = 280

Heavy Support
LR exterminator
Pask, lascannon, stubber, plasma spons = 265

LR executioner
Plasma spons = 230

LRBT
HB spons, lascannon = 185

Totals 1842 outta 1850
Vets with melts in valks
Harker as pill box maybe outflank aswell
Thinkin of losing commissars to put CCS in chim to get in CC and order vets
Regular troops just fire'n squads
Very unlucky with plasma on troops hence the spons

The main problem with this list is that apart from a pair of demo suprises, your troops choices aren't really that great. Really, you're relying on only three vehicles for basically all of your killing power, as little else is equipped with anything stronger than a heavy bolter or sniper rifle.

Basically, it looks like you're trying to do three different things, but are doing them in such a way where you only have the points to do one of them properly.

The first thing you should probably do is to lighten up the things that are really expensive for what they do, and the things that don't really fit in the list. This means pask and both sets of plasma sponsons, the harker squad, and straken. This frees up roughly a third of your points, which could be repurposed into better killing power with other options.

Can you Explain what you mean by do 3 different things?
Also I feel I have enough to take on av14 if need be but I don't want to focus on av14 so much, the spons are replacing plasma on troops.
Harker is for holding objectives and can hold it down.
Pask if I decide not to move much is giving me 4 S8 shots and 2 S8 plasma blasts with 3+ to hit , that covers MEQs and av12's.
Executioner is doing same but at S7.
Lascannon upgrades in my opinion are just good to have and usually are useful.
I have lots of anti troop, plus enough distractions with 2 valks and 3 russes.
Snipers I put with Harker because he prob won't move much and want to keep ranged.
Plus just lots of range across the board. Basically going for well rounded so the mission type won't matter.
