So who's gonna make it to Adepticon? I figured a thread in this forum was useful. The one in the Tournament section is unweildy.
I'm going down for Thursday, and thru until sometime Sunday.
I'm signed up for the Kick-off Tournament Thursday night, but from there I wander into 40k (the friendly 1500) and Malifaux.
I will see if time in the Iron Arena can happen if I'm not distracted by new shinies at the CMoN booth, or trying demos of Infinity.

I am going to coming in from DeKalb along with a few others.
I am in the tourney on Thursday night and then Iron Arena game and demos of Infinity, Leviathan, and Robotech Battles for Friday and Saturday. I am signed up for the Open Masters but 3-50 point lists that need to include reinforcements is just too much of a pain to lug around for a six round tourney... probably will be skipping that.
Sunday is the team tourney... I am looking forward to that one!

Really? Because that's my favorite format. It encourages large collections without
descending into a multi-caster crazy.

Mal: Yep... I would like to but three caster at that point level is a bit much for my tastes. Plus you figure in 10 extra points for each list so really you are running 60 point lists. Then to carry everything around table to table in tight quarters I would need at least two boards. In my opinion it is too much of a hassle. I enjoy playing and have no qualms that I would be smooshed in the Open Masters but in my opinion again the format is not designed for a player like me. When I initially signed up it was the closest event they had in the schedule to a Steamroller so I snagged it. Then I looked closer and well... was less than pleased.
If they ran it at two lists I would be there or maybe down around 35 for three but at 50 with everything else that SR2012 requires... I will pass. Basically I am not a "master"
In any case it will give me more Iron Arena time and there are a bunch of games I want to demo so all is not lost. I may give my place to one of the players from our store or I know there is a waiting list.

I don't know. My 50 point lists are somewhat different from my 35 point ones. A
35 point masters would feel different than 50 points.
I'm sure someone is on a waitlist for your spot.

I totally understand. At 50 you get a lot more options. And I have some 50 point lists that I enjoy but running three seems a bit on the extreme. Of course it is the Masters so I guess that is the way it will be.
I am fairly certain there will be someone looking to take my place!
