I want ideas on what I need to change. At this point in time I would just throw black guard and corsairs at things to whittle them down and then throw cold one knights into it.

Your Dreadlord can only use either his regen save or his ward save, he can't use them both. Putting him on a Cold One is also a bit of an error- on a Dark Steed he is faster, cheaper and still has the same armour save if you swap the regen armour for the Dragonhelm. Add in the Stubborn Crown, and he can go running around on his on or stay in the bus. You won't really get much mileage out of Deathpiercer on him, the Sword of Might will serve you better more often.

You'll get better mileage out of a Cauldron BSB than your current set-up, or tbh any other BSB in the book.

You need to specify the lore on the level 4. She also doesn't need the ward save. Usually, the Sacrificial Dagger will be better for you than the Pendant. Your current one only adds a handful of attacks and an extra pip of combat res and risks a lot of points, whereas the Cauldron adds so much more. The re-roll on the bus is nice, but they're immune to psych and shouldn't be losing combats so it's pretty redundant.

You need to specify the lore on the level 2.

Are you running extra hand weapons or handbows on the Corsairs?

The xbows could do with a musician.

The Warriors don't need shields, and without the Standard of Discipline the standard bearer is slightly redundant unless you're planning on playing the scenarios. The unit is also too small- you can get away with 15 in the bunker, but 20 is better. 10 will fall over far too quickly from any sort of light ranged harassment and expose the mage.

I'm not a really a fan of Dark Riders. They don't really add much that harpies can't do cheaper or shades can't do better in my opinion.

The command options barring the musician on Black Guard are also unnecessary unless they'll have magic kit. I like to run mine with just the musician, as they come in incredibly cheap (267pts) but don't lose much in terms of effectiveness when backed up by a Cauldron and/or magic. Perhaps take the standard bearer if you'll be playing the scenarios, but I don't consider him worthwhile.

Oops my bad on the wizards. level 4 on shadow/death-undecided at this time. I just took the 4+ ward on my level 4 to give her some survivability just in case. I am tempted to stick the sacrificial dagger in there as well...
Level 2 on fire/metal-undecided

I am aware my dreadlord only gets to use 1. This way he still gets his ward save against stuff like death magic. The reason he is on a cold one is for the +2 to his save, just to be slightly better against modifiers. I probably will stick the stubborn hat on him. I do like the idea behind a cauldron BSB, but I keep forgetting to apply the blessings whenever I take one. It is also based on models. I am aware of the avatar statue, but until now I could not find a bowl and I am too clumsy to sculpt...I will probably add one in using the blood bowl from the mortis engine kit now...

Corsairs have additional hand weapons. I find handbows to be pretty gak.

As for the crossbows, I generally run them with a musician, but I took it out due to points. But if I take my dark riders out I can stick one in there and boost their numbers.

I just take the warriors as a house for my level 2. I could up the number to 15 if I take the dark riders out. And they were there to fill points and my core allowance to begin with.

For my black guard I just take the full command because I generally run them with the Armour piercing banner. and the champ is coz I play brets/beastmen/dwarves mostly and I feel like I need to maximise on attacks, before I die.

Currently, I run a dreadlord on foot w/ Sword Of Might, Armour of Darkness, Shield of Ghrond and Pendant of Khaeleth

That lord couldn't have both the Armour of Darkness and Shield of Ghrond. Only allowed one magical armour item on a single character

I think you mean CAN'T, as both are arcane items and thus only one per character. Dagger is better than familiar IMO.

Depends on the situation. I've found the familiar pretty useful with my Dark Sorceress for the extra 6" range. For a Level 4 with a BRB lore the dagger will be better as you're needing higher casting values so it's a good backup in case you roll poorly and miss out on the required value by <=6. Last thing you want is a Level 4 who doesn't even manage to get one spell off.
