ello!

since I signed up to this site, I've had nothing but good criticism and it's helped me form my eldar army
that to this day continues to slaughter my friend's grey knights, space marines, orks, and tau armies!

but after playing a recent game, I feel that it's missing a little something special.

I'm leaning towards either of these options:

a) the avatar
b) some warlocks

the warlocks will add some serious damage and survivability potential to my army,
but the avatar is simply epic for his points cost!

a) Pretty sweet unit with a big "shoot me" sign to draw fire. Doesnt fit in a mechlist though.
b) never seen them on foot so cant say much there. Have seem them used effectively on jetbikes aka jetseer council but oh boy is that expensive.

It seems you want some flavor or perhaps just a fun melee element so I'll add one for ya, this is what I plan to incorporate in my list im currently building.
c) Harlequins

B-e-a-utiful minis with Ignore terrain+fleet makes them very fast, add some kisses for rending and perhaps a pistol for dealing with armor and voilá! You got a unit that hits like a ton of bricks with hit and run to ensure you always get the charge bonus with hit and run. Add in a shadowseer for some gunfire protection to ensure safe(er) delivery to where you need them.

Oh, the downsides? They compete with FD's for the Elite slot, die very easily when/if something hits you back and cant use a transport. And the usual slightly overpriced 3S/3T for Eldar.

They CAN use a transport, they just can't take a dedicated one.
They can always GTA someone else's turn 1.

Bear in mind, though, that even with a shadowseer, veil won't protect you while embarked in a vehicle, and you can't assault from any (craftworld) Eldar vehicle.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
