The Emperor Class Battleship 'The Sky Ablaze'

Is this Magnus. It can't possibly be Sigmar, and it's truly been bugging me.
Also, does anyone know where this picture came from? I think it was one of the earlier editions of the rulebook, but I cant remember.

Empire - 2000pts 'The Greygear Battalion'
Imperial Guard - 2000pts Krieg 23rd Panzer Regiment 'The 'Steel Spears'

That is from the 6th edition empire rule book. It is Karl Franz in his duel with the orc war boss at black fire pass just after the death of the mad count of averland.

I believe the story is mentioned in the new book under Karl Franz's exploits.

Sargent! Bring me my brown pants!

Cool, thanks. I guess I didn't recognize him without his helmet.

Leitdorf should have kicked that orc's teeth in (Marius is my favorite Empire character ever, so some serious bias here). Karl only killed the Orc because the spirit of Sigmar imbued him with new strength and possessed him-the possession caused the Orc to stumble back in confusion and let his guard down, thus Sig-Franz smashing him on the forehead with his big golden mallet.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

There's a reason he was the only EC that got a revamped model-GW agrees with us. But Cruddance really flubbed him in this new book from what I can tell-very expensive with an ability that will often screw the player over. No thank you.
