Howdy Dakka,

One of my players for my weekly meetup bought Pedro Kantor for his Crimson Fist, and wants to use him in nearly every game. At 500 or 750 points, that can be difficult, but I guess at 1000+ points, it can be feasible.

So the question is, what's a decent 1000 point list with Pedro Kantor? What he has in his collection is irrelevant.

Something I came up, but am not sure if good:

Sternguard, Powerfist, Melta x2
Razorback, TL Lascannons
Sternguard, Powerfist, Melta x2
Razorback, TL Lascannons

Scouts, Sniper Rifles x4, Missile Launcher, Camo Cloaks

That's a pretty decent list but I'd be woried about hoards. I might drop razorbacks to regular razorbacks. this would give you enough points to ad a MM/HF landspeeder.

Between the lascanons/ and missle launchers and Land Speeder you should be able to pop all the armour you need to at 1000 points, with the combi meltas for any armour that is being stubborn. The HB and the HF will defeinetly worth it if you encounter tyranids or orks at this point level.

Razorback switch to lasplas. Drop powerfist on one squad since Pedro will ride with them. They should take combi-melta whenever they can since special ammuniation is awesome.

Typical setup:
5-man Sternguard - 3x combi-melta, 1x meltagun, sergent with bolter.
Razorback LasPlas or Razorback TL Assault Cannon

For Pedro list, take 3 of the above and 2 sniper scout squads @ 1000 pts.

RIGHT! I knew there was a reason to take combi-meltas over meltas, I nearly forgot. Thanks leohart, that helps a lot.

Now I need an anti-horde in there to make sure I don't get swarmed... Hmm.
