On pg53 of Codex: Eldar ;
Doomed: Yriel is constantly battling to stop the eergies of the Spear of Twilight from consuming him, his forceshield allaying the worst of the weapon's effects. At the end of every game, Yriel suffers one automatic wound from his own weapon. Yriel may take his forceshield save as normal.
Now, pg 28
Fortune: [...] This unit re-rolls any failed saves it makes until the start of the next Eldar turn.
Now, taking the RaW of the fortune power, if the game ends on an Eldar players turn OR the opponents turn in which Fortune was cast on Yriel or his unit, he will be able to re-roll his invuln save. Technically, there IS no 'next Eldar turn', so Fortune is still in effect?
Am I correct?

The next Eldar turn is just spelling out when the effect ends. So yes, it works fine on the last turn of the game - on Yriel or not.

I think the real issue is what occurs first, Yriel's ability or the totaling of victory (or kill) points. Both happen "at the end of the game".

...wow, I never thought of that. I'd assume just take the save before the tallying of KP for the sake of avoiding any drama. It's perfectly possible that the would could be taken after though, Yriel falling even after victory has been achieved.

Since the BRB says "In standard missions, as soon as the game ends and before working out victory conditions, all units that are falling back are removed and count as destroyed." I'd throw Yriel's wound in there as well.

Agreed. After the final assualt phase of the game, Yriel suffers a Wound, falling back units are removed, and Victory Conditions figured out.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
