I plan on starting a Nurgle Daemon army soon, One of the ideas that I was thinking about was the beasts of nurgle. I like them for their stats but I hate the models. They are, in my opinion, one of the worst models the GW produces. I was wondering if any one knew of any alternative models that could be used. One idea that i was toying with was the Nurgle Plague Toads. They are great models and I fell they represent Nurgle very well.

How about the chaos spawn models?

i used ogre kingdom ogres with some green stuff and some bits such as ogre blades instead of heads and a giant hand coming out of the gut plate hole they look really cool man

The above works, but generally beastmen can be turned equally the same to replace things like plaguebearers etc.

I use spawn with LOTS of tentacles, the fly head, the triple head piece in the shape of the Nurgle symbol, stuff like that. I hate beasts of Nurgle too, so I understand your desire to use something else. Maybe if they looked like the Beast of Nurgle from the Warhammer Invasion cards, I'd go with it-this one just looks mental.

Thanks for the ideas. I thought about spawn, but I never put too much thought into it. Maybe I should consider it a bit more.

@Sasa0mg: I plan on waiting until the rumored plastic plaguebearers realese. It should be later this year when Chaos Legions is released.

@timetowaste: I just looked up the Warhammer invasion card for the beasts and I like it. Too bad that the actual model look horrible.
