Aloha everyone,

Here's my take on Karl Franz on Deathclaw. When I first saw the announcement of this kit, I fell in love with it. This version is based on my pet bird Nahele. He was a Green-Cheek Conure and lived a good 25 years. So, I decided to pay tribute to him, by painting the model in his colors. One thing which I did change was Karl's Helm. I didn't like it so I replaced it with a Teutonic Knights Helm from Fireforge Games. One of his favorite toys was bells, so I decided to add one of his actual bells to the diorama. Enjoy!

The wings are beautiful...kinda remind me of a Mawcaw. The colors are nice and muted, giving the entire piece a realistice look and feel. The highlights look great. Paying tribute to a beloved pet, always a good reason to paint some GW

A beautiful tribute.
I'm sure he would've loved it.

I can get behind that sort of tribute. Great work on the whole thing.

Holy cr*p, that's the first time I've seen this model, and it's something else! What an amazing sculpt!
Your paintjob is really nice, that colour combo could easily have turned out gaudy and horrible, but it's definitely neither of those, it's very nice. Well done sir!

Very nice Griffin and Rider. Pretty neat to see that FF stuff works well on GW
