Mid-War was so nice!

It's a real pity that the Early and Late War tournies were run on boards too small (4x4) and crammed with terrain (easily 75%+) to make the games balanced and fun.

4x4 tables?! That's a debacle.

Yep, and imagine facing a BAR in EW on a 4x4 table with Mittlere Panzers....every turn my opponent was within Tally Ho! range. It's not his fault (he was a great guy to game with), there was simply no room to maneuver or turn a flank.

Needless to say, I was not happy with that setup and hope they change it next year. If not, fortification company all the way!

4x4? Holy crap, that is tiny! What points level was the LW games? 1750? If so, 4x4 is definitely waaaay too small. Although 75% terrain sounds about right to me, I hate playing on pool table-like terrain.

Well, I guess it's not as bad as 1500 or 1750, but still too small for a 4x4 table I'd say. I probably wouldn't want to play anything bigger than 600 on a 4x4. Maybe 1000, but I still feel like that'd be pushing it.

I surprised that people were willing to pay plane/hotel money to got to a 1200 point tournament on 4x4 tables.

THIS. 4X4 is insane.

Ehh at 1265 4x4 tables isnt bad.

I took hungarian armor and faced 3 Soviet armored lists and came out the tournament winner. An in all honestly most of my tanks had to get lucky to hurt soviet tanks due to the 40mm only being AT 7.

The terrain was very nice and even though it was abit dense on some tables just gotta use what you can is all I have to say. I had 14 tanks and no infantry on those tables and did well.

Yeah, it was the first time I'd ever seen anyone use them.

If I have any complaints, it's just that all the armies and models shown put mine to shame....I really need to get around to finishing them off

Just my 2 cents
