Was just thinking the other day that it could be cool to get some browser extensions for Dakka.

I have no idea how feasible it would be, but an extension that notified you of new PMs or updated subscribed threads would be very cool imo.

Just a thought.



Oh and if you do do it, can you do it for chrome first...

I'm not totally opposed to the idea, but it is a bit of a niche area that is not really worth the effort at the moment. Usually I dont like targetting things that dont help the vast majority of users, so supporting specific bits of external software is not in the usual modus operandi.

Ok fair enough! It just came to my mind as i was adding extensions to chrome.

I'll just jump in to +1 the idea if it makes any difference. I'd love a Firefox add on for Dakka. More integration and customization is always as good thing i think and i can see a lot of people using it if it was available and advertised.
