When me and my brother where driving home from are saturday nite battle. He asked me question about models companies especiallly the bigger independant ones and why they do contain bases for models.
well here is question?
Is the Plastic solider company,Forged in Battle and old glory geared more towards Force on Force than Flames of War?Because they contain no bases and you usually mount the models on washers or coins.
We have been talking about switching over to Force on Force for are next Wargame, probably after are Fall Blood League is over.He is wanting to use the 1/72 scale plastic soliders and models kits.

Most companies are not geared to any system.... Very few historical companies supply bases due to the varying types of basing requirements among differing rulesets, not to mention the added cost.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

They do it to make their product attractive to players that use rulesets that specify base sizes.

Its so PSC can sell stuff to people who play FoW and any of the other WW2 miniature games. The player simply needs to mount them on the proper base(which they can buy with the savings and still have saved some $)

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
