I now present another army that I recovered all the pictures for when I found my old photo bucket account. It started as a beasts of chaos army with a unit of chaos warriors and knights, then morphed to hordes of chaos with gors and ungors for marauders, pestigors as chosen with great weapons, and centigors as marauders on horseback. These were all painted about 5-6 years ago, so hopefully my painting has improved a bit, and my basing has defintely gotten better. If anybody is interested I have many more beats, some centigors, and another unit of chaos knights if people want pics of those. Enough text, here's the pics, comments and criticism welcome as always.

Heres my converted Gorthor. I usually run him as Wulfric the wanderer in one of the "beast" marauders units. I picked him up dirt cheap when he was repacked with one of the newer ungors as his driver.

This guy was the special standard bearer that came with the last big army box the beats had. It was my first fantasy army. Mostly because I picked up the $220.00 box for $140.00 on clearance.

Another beast lord with great weapon.

A unit standard bearer.

My bray shaman:

Some chaos trolls. I loathe these models but they came with the box set so I painted em up anyways. I would love to pick up some of the new river trolls as they scream nurgle to me, but I'm strapped for cash and have been playing mostly 40K lately so what little hobby money I get goes that way.

A couple of Gors from one of the more mutated herds.

Heres a limited edition chaos sorcerer. I don't remember where I picked this guys up.

A converted chaos lord from a games day 2002 model I think.

My chaos giant.

My shaggoth. By far my favorite model in the army.

Chaos Knight standard bearer

A couple of other chaos knights:

Some of the chaos warriors:

A chaos warrior standard bearer:

Some pestigors:

Thanks for the feedback. Most of these were done about 6 years ago so hopefully my painting skills have improved some. I think the most recently painted thing in the bunch is the giant, which I did right when it came out in 2006, so 6 years ago. I am also now much more concious of mold lines. Actually, working with the gor models was one of the things that made me really aware of mold lines, as they are rife with the suckers. I'm glad you like the converted chaos lord. I hated the model originally as it had a horrible head and very bad demon maw looking axe. When I got the unit of chaos warriors I thought the champion head would fit perfectly on this model. I still love that head for any chaos champions, fantasy or 40k.

Thanks Norn king. I am fairly proud of the standards, especially as they were some of the very first free hand that I attempted. Still not great at it, but I'am always trying to improve.
