Well....it's competitive and very easy to play. It'll be effective at what it does, but if intended for friendly or fun games don't run this. Finding a lot of other players getting annoyed with psy spam, been more a fan of mix henchmen sqauds and interceptors.

I echo these sentiments. Very competitive, easy to use and very forgiving. Don't take it to a casual game though

I'd say rather solid.

Glad to hear it!

I've been playing Dark Eldar for quite a while. I find them to be the opposite of very forgiving.

I appreciate the replies.

You don't need that many Purifiers. You need 5 Purifiers to get double specials and another 5 to get double specials again. You're not taking four specials mainly because of the Rhinos, that's fine, but the any Purifiers after are just bulking up the points.

I would drop the excess Purifiers and take Venerable Dreadnoughts or Interceptor Squad.

I've enjoyed having the extra numbers in the games I've played.

I could drop the 4 extra Purifiers in Rhinos, but that's not even enough for a Ven Dread.

9 geared for combat with an Inquisitor is great.

You would have drop to all Purifiers over the number of 5 plus the Inquisitor to get Venerable Dreadnoughts.

Right.

I just don't think I want to do that.

Drop everything. Take Coteaz. Use only Vindicare Assassins and Death Cult Assassins. For heavy Support, use three Land Raider Crusaders. For Fast Attack, use three Stormravens.

Good? No. Hilarious? Yes.

It's also not possible in a 2k list. The three SRs and three LRCs together cost over 1000 points, and the Vindicare Assassins + the DCAs + Coteaz cost about 1600.

Now that sounds more like it, I think Grey Knights can be fun and that also sounds scary to be vs. If I sit down with a random guy to play a friendly game see all psycannons and all i think is "man this is going to suck to play". I got 1/3 the way to making a army like this then stopped myself, if I finish it'll be all henchmen mix squads like 6dc/2melta/3cursaders for troops, maybe dreadknights, assisans and interceptors. Sure people will boo it but it's very flexable and test playing it was very fun and actually competitive.
