Well, better is relative term. He doesn't have Fearless, so if he fails LD test, you can even escort him off table assuming you keep one of your models within 6" of him all the time.

Chance of him failing a leadership test is 3 in 36, or 1 in 12. Chances of him failing an armour save is 1 in 6.
So tank-shocking him to death could be worth it if you had few AP2 or PWs.
Would be lol-as-hell.
