I recently made a purchase with Forgeworld, my package came in last week and I inspected the models closely. It appeared that two of them had some casting issues so I promptly sent Forgeworld and email. They never replied, after several days I sent another email, and then last night another. Now there is a time difference between the UK and the East Coast USA however they have not replied to any of my emails and I cannot simply call them, my cell phone does not support international calling.

So my question is, has anyone else had issues like this? How did you go about resolving them?

Call GW's Customer Service number and see what they say you should do.

Calling will always get you further than emailing. IIRC Forgeworld has its own customer service line to call.

Gathering the Informations.

Their email is always swamped--especially after events, of which they just attended two(Adepticon and Salute).

Pop onto their Facebook page, say you have an issue and they'll look for your email. Sometimes emails get blocked by spamfilters. By that same vein, their replies may be getting blocked by your email's spam filters.

That said: calling them will always get you a result. If you can't make the call with a cell phone, see if you can use a landline or something.

I had an issue with my order a few years ago and it was resolved almost immediatly.

My guess is that there is an issue with spam filters or you are lost in a crowd of e-mails.

It might be awhile, as it's 9:13PM in Nottingham right now.

I keep a clock on my PC set for their time, just so I can know when to call if I need to.

I've dealt with them before via email and had no issues, so not sure if it'd be spam filters. I imagine it is frequency of emails.

Frequency of emails and the recovery period they usually need after doing two events is very likely the issue.

For your cell phone issue you can purchase international calling cards that are not that expensive to buy/put minutes on. My wife has family in Poland and we call there at least once a month with our cell phones using a calling card she has. It might be cost effective if you purchase from forgeworld a lot to maybe invest in one and then when you need to call just put minutes on it.

Usually a once or twice a year thing honestly =/

Edit:

Checked prices on Skype, looks like the connection fee is under 10 cents, and they charge just over 2 cent a minute to talk, so at some point I can just drop 5 bucks or so on some skype credit and be on about my business.
