Arena-Montreal (fourth edition) is a war gaming tournament for 40K, Fantasy and Blood Bowl players which was started in 2007.
Date: May 26th - May 27th

Location: Montreal, Hotel Espresso
Cost: 1 day participation $45.00, 2 days participation $75.00 and Blood Bowl is $40.00 (2 days)
Food is included on your participation days.

Saturday “Singles”
• Warhammer 40K Singles (1850 pts.)
• Warhammer Fantasy Singles (2500 pts)
• Blood Bowl, Golden Sweet Bun (day 1)

PAINTING CONTEST
Categories:
1) Single miniature (any system 25mm base-40mm base including 30mm flying bases)
2) Large Monster or Vehicle (any system) – (55mm+ base)
3) Unit (5 or more)
4) Open Category (painted something cool – not sure what category it falls into, here is the category for you)

Sunday “Doubles”
• Warhammer 40K Doubles (2 player teams – 1000 pts each)
• Warhammer Fantasy Doubles (2 player teams – 1000 pts each)
• Blood Bowl, Golden Sweet Bun (day 2 finals)


Other Events”
• Silent Auction for Forgeworld Mars Pattern Titan Warhound
• Mathieu Fontaine celebrity judge for painting for both 40K and Fantasy Singles and Doubles & Painting Contest
• Mathieu will also be painting a mini over the course of the weekend and then raffling it off on Sunday!

A brief history of Arena: Montreal

This tournament was created by my husband and I in 2007 with the help of Games Workshop. At the time we were Grey Knights (Canada’s Outrider Program). Arena was an immediate success. We wanted an event free from favouritism and free of an association with local gaming retailers since competition is rather fierce in Montreal we decided to stay neutral. Key important elements for Arena:

• the location is very important to us (good lighting, easy access for all modes of transportation)
• fantastic scenery, which is changed and regularly maintained (we pride ourselves on the fact that we have original scenery not all pre-made GW or other company scenery pieces)
• And the final element is the players, it all those who attended in the past who have made Arena a great success.
• Standard prizes awarded plus awards for best theme.
• Fun swag & fantastic prizes and sponsors

Our Adepticon 40K Team Tournament scenery is a small dose of what to expect at Arena, we have always loved provided players with unique places to fight their next battle.

I have informed a few local people, so we should all be seeing you there Iyanna!
