My phone is being charged monthly from sending picture messages to a number I've never texted. 81197 or something like that, the nearest number is 81199 which is Radio One but I've never sent a picture message and my last text in was months ago.

I think the only explanation could be a hustle where a hustler gets my phone to send pictures to that number and gets the money from it? But the only time my phone was handled by someone else was by someone I know and don't think has that knowledge.

Any help?

There are virus's on phones these days, could be that?

Or there are number of scams where you answer a call and after a while they can charge you for the pleasure.

More inoccently a friend could be pranking you (received any gay love messages recently ) or a sibling might have texted from your phone?

In any case I'd contact your phone company and report unknown activity on the phone.

Well I get no textmessages in the send folder or in the incoming from anything unkown. I'm not the bill payer and I think my parents think I'm some dirty scoundrel, but I don'tsend picture messages and why would I send them at the same time each night?

Another explanation could be internet charges? My phone is always connected.

The same time everynight sounds automated, therefore more likely to be some sort of virus based neferious goings on especially if you are being charged say £1.50 a pop?

I'd turn it off and hand it back to the shop for replacement/cleaning by a pro. If your parents are paying thats double the reason to get it sorted if they're picking up the tab for your internet based indiscressions!

It's contract, anything that goes over I pay for. Anyway, I'm going to turn it off each night and see of that stops it.
