Hi. The new Dakka Painting Challenge has reignited my desire to start Infinity. I do want to be economical, so I was thinking I can also use the Infinity models I buy for 40k as IG or Inquisition... my problem is GW has weird proportions and they will look funny beside the more well-proportioned (and well-sculpted!) Infinity models. So my question is: are there any miniature lines out there that would look good when mixed with Infinity models? I was thinking Mantic with their Corporation line, but I haven't seen a photo of them side-by-side Infinity miniatures. I prefer cheap and cheerful stuff and stuff I can convert, because this is IG we're talking about and I'm gonna need a lot of them.

Second question: any good links for boards and terrain made specifically for Infinity? I surmised that this game needs more terrain than the usual game boards, and I want to start making stuff and I need inspiration.

Lastly, any links on good (and free) terrain cardstocks? Again, this'll be used for the Infinity gameboards for fast and dirty terrain that'll be replaced once we bought or made better terrain.

Thanks!

With regards to your second question I came across this last night which may prove to be a good source of inspiration:-

There's a variety of modular container type terrain block templates out on the nets.
Try here:

Picture showing some of the ikubes on his "table layout" (it's a downloadable streetmap thingy).

Haven't seen the mantic line in person yet, so can't say as to how well they fit in. Antenociti's workshop stuff fits in, though (but the GOT line was designed that way).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
