Might be an old question but anyways, here i go.
As a Dark Eldar player i have noticed that in my arsenal there is a Talos pain engine, with the ability to upgrade an Ichor injector, whom's specifics read: "For every unsaved wound suffered from this special close combat weapon, the victim must take a Thoughness test. If it fails any of these tests, the model suffers instant death, regardless of its Thougness".
So it's pretty straight forward, a Talos equipped with Ichor injector engage a unit of multiple wound models in close combat, and inflicts more wounds then that of each individual model (example, i fight tyranid warriors, whom each have 3 wounds, and i deal 4 unsaved wounds in a single assult)

What happeneds then?
Are the wounds i inflict distributet so that my opponent must take 4 Thougness test, and risk loosing 4 models?
or does one model absorb 3 wounds, so that only one other has to take a single thoughness test?
or is it something entierly different?

The second option - the first warrior soaks three wounds - and would have to test 3 times but he's dead. The 4th wound spills over to another warrior, who needs to test.

Thanks a lot!
i am asuming then, that if i should inflict 2 wounds, and he fails both the test, i still only kill one model since only one model is hit?

Yes.

(This is all assuming the unit hit is all identical. If you hit a Nob squad with wargear setup for wound distribution, the Talos Engine is much more deadly.)

In the same area of intrigue, if I have warriors with dual bone swords and am fighting scarab swarms. I inflict 5 wounds, that means 5 3D6 leadership tests. one after the other right?
lets assume there are 4 bases of scarabs.

No. You kill one base with wounds, and put 2 wounds on another base. That second base has to test twice or suffer ID.
