The project I'm working on is a company of Iron Warriors who have chosen to turn on their battle-brothers.
So their not loyalist by any means but they've also turned against Chaos Legions.

I'm wondering how many marines are in an Iron Warriors 'grand company'? Is it 100 like astartes?
Or is there no set number? I've had a look on lexicanum, wiki and google but can't find any reference.

If so generally how was the force organized? IE: was it 4 x tac squads, 4 x devastators 2 x assault plus
auxilary units such as tanks, titans etc.

Well any tips or knowledge would be appreciated, cheers.

i think a "Grand Company" is supposed to be pretty much the same size as a Loyalist chapter.

Also, according to most books (BL included), the size of an iron warriors grand company is only as large as the commander can handle.. so the better the commander, the larger the company...

Also, you neednt worry about offending people if the iron warriors attack 'chaos' because theyll pretty much ruin the defenses of anyone who pisses them off.

Yup, no set size for a Grand Company, but it's usually roughly 1000 marines, like a chapter.

If you wanted to run a damon prince, i thought it would be cool to use an A-10 model's engines in place of actual wings, as an homage to the IWs technical fancies.
