I keep reading about games ending on first or second turn... These boards do not have enough cover but is our board too covered ?
(It looks awful by the way =P Using all I can to have a lot of cover haha)

There's no such thing as too much terrain or cover unless you really want to play sniper wars.

We generally run 75% or so cover on our tables.
My terrain tends to be in 55l storage tubs and one generally does a 25% 40k table - Infinity will often use 3 of them.

A mixture of differing height terrain, low scatter terrain and 3" tall stuff at ground level.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

This may have been mentioned before:

There should never be a clear LoF from any table edge to another table edge.

You should avoid tall pieces of terrain in deployment zones.

You should avoid tall pieces of terrain near table edges.

There should probably be no more than 8" between terrain pieces.

Following these guidelines will make for better Infinity terrain placement.
