They are fungus, space shrooms. They reproduce via spores that they keep extracting from their bodies, those spores can become with time squigs, grots, getchin and of coarse ork boys. Yet they have no such sentiments as male, female, child or parenting. An ork would not know and even if he did would not care for his... uhm "offspring".

There's technically no such thing as male orks. They have no gender, and reproduce asexually.

No. Orks are asexual, reproducing through spores. Brother Coa's signature even mentions them as "magic mushrooms".

Right. The Orc chearleader from Blood Bowl is a for-laughs kind of thing. As Orks are spawned from fungus, they have no gender.
