I've looked but I can't Find the answer to this. Wil a stormraven fit in the standard 4in tray that comes with the motorpool, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

what are the measurements of the storm raven??

9.5 long x 10.5in accross the wings x 4in high

There is a company you can buy foam from that is cut to any depth, and any size. You will just have to put a bottom on the piece of foam.

The Stormraven does not fit in the 4 inch foam that comes with the Motorpool, but Sabol does sell what's essentially two 4 inch foams slapped together side by side which does fit the Stormraven. The only problem is that if you have multiple Stormravens it will take one Motorpool to only hold 2 Stormravens including the bases. For comparison's sake in my 4 inch foam I put the Stormraven, its base, and a Predator. That's really about all you can fit.

Cool man thanks for that info. I really should just bite the bullet on an armored company bag or something from battlefoam but man it's like twice the cost just to fit a storm raven or two.

It sucks cuz my GK army is pretty small

If anything get the Motorpool and one of the smaller bags or just get the large rolling bag. It might be more beneficial to you to get one of the bigger bags at that point. The Stormravens will always be a pain to carry around. I wish they were a bit smaller.

A poster above references the Sabol tray which is basically 2 trays side by side. I think 1 Storm Raven will fit in it. I also think the try is 4.5 deep? I had one a while back. Its outer wall was thicker then the normal tray. It did take up a good chunk of the Motor Pool.

Best bet for storm raven: Battle Foam unforunately, especially if you are running 2 Storm Ravens.

Well why don't you magnetize the wings?? It would fit in half the space..

Um.....cuz I wasn't thinking about that 2 months ago when I built and painted it......

lol.. Its always the case.. I try to break down large vehicles with magnets to make them easier to transport.

That's my lesson for the day (magnatize!)

. I just ordered the foams I wanted from Sabol, Got 2 x double 4in trays, 2x 3in, and 2x 2in trays, gonna go to the walmart or target and get a big plastic bin to put them in and save myself about $35 bucks (that should get me almost a dreadnought!).

lol.. I hear ya.. For foam def get it from that case club I sent you.. It works out to being a lot cheaper than sabol foam.
