Well after several months or work - I'm a slow painter - my Battlwagon is finally finished. I tried out some new, pretty heavy weathering techniques with this, along with more advanced paint chips and some rust/sand powders. Big thank you to Secret Squig and his weathering tutorial thread.

I'm not 100% happy with how the sand/rust powdering turned out. That's mostly down to my inexperience I think, but after a bit of tweaking I'm satisfied. I did end up very pleased with the death rolla, though you can't see the blood work I did very well.

Any pointers would be massively appreciated as I'm still learning.

Few of the conversions I made: Drilled out/green stuff bullet damage, added several truck parts, forge world gretchin sponsons, extra door gretchin, changed turret gunner head, track guards from a model shop's bitz box.

Minor advice: in the topic you put conversion, that's some parts swaps. When you put up "Converted Battlewagon" lots of Ork players are going to expect to see really kit bashing, not parts swaps.

Paintjob: I like it it has the Ork dirty and grungy feel. You still incoporated the traditional red. The dirt work is really a nice touch to add the realistic look!

Nice work. I have recently started an Ork army, and to see work like this is truly inspiring.
