So since the codex release I've been experimenting with my army just trying to get a feel for the style of list I want to play as necrons are blessed with a good number of choices when it comes to builds. With that said I've been able to render down the core of the list I have found more effective in my meta. As a result there will be some striking similarities in both lists.

Here is the first

Spoiler:
HQ
OverLord: Scythe, MSS (115)
Catacomb Command Barge: (80)

Elites
5 Deathmarks: (95)

Troops
8 Immortals: Tesla (153) Cryptek, EL, SP (55)
8 Immortals: Tesla (153) Cryptek, EL (35)
8 Immortals: Tesla (153) Cryptek, EL (35)
8 Immortals: Tesla (153) Cryptek, VoD (60)

Fast Attack
5 Canoptek Scarabs: (75)
5 Canoptek Scarabs: (75)

Heavy Support
Annihilation Barge: (90)
Annihilation Barge: (90)
3 Canoptek Spyders: (150)

I like the number of bodies it brings along with the Crypteks, the deathmarks allow me to shift the VoD Cryptek to their squad while deploying if my opponent is running suitable targets. If not the VoD helps me save my troops from assault. I've also found the mini farm with 2 Annihilation Barges to be very effective as well.

Here is the second list, which while quite similar tweaks a few key things.

Spoiler:
HQ
OverLord: Scythe, MSS (115)
Catacomb Command Barge: (80)

Elites
Triarch Stalker: (150)

Troops
10 Immortals: Tesla (170) Cryptek, EL, SP (55)
10 Immortals: Tesla (170) Cryptek, EL (35)
10 Immortals: Tesla (170) Cryptek, VoD (60)

Fast Attack
5 Canoptek Scarabs: (75)
5 Canoptek Scarabs: (75)

Heavy Support
Annihilation Barge: (90)
Annihilation Barge: (90)
3 Canoptek Spyders: (150)

The biggest change here is the Triarch Stalker which creates a more castle oriented list rather than the previous one which had the options for different deployment choices. This list looses 2 Immortals overall but more importantly runs only 3 squads as opposed to 4. It also sacrifices a lance and the deathmarks for the Stalker. Just not sure if the walker is worth the trade.

While they are very small tweaks I am getting to the point where I'm looking to solidify my list in order to increase my proficiency with it. Just looking for input and comments on either of the two lists to make them effective take all comers lists.

Was able to get a go with the first list in this weekend. Played against a BA list that looked like this (going off memory)

Libby-Jetpack

10 AM 2 melta, fist, rhino
10 AM 2 melta, fist, rhino
10 AM 2 flamers, PW

Sang Priest- Jetpack
5 Terminators

2 Dreds Auto cannon, DCCW
Vindicator

Due to some spectacular one sided rolling by me made it an easy win we stopped early as his 10 man AM squad with Libby and Priest died on a very bad DS roll while my CCB was able to shrug off everything popping the dreds and the vindicator.

In the end it was fun but not that great of a test for the list. I plan to continue to play the first list until I get a good feel for its effectiveness against a decent range of opponents.

questions and comments still welcome.

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

I would go with the first list, however, put the VoD cryptek with the deathmarks, he can deep strike in with them, and his flamer template will wound on a 2+, at AP1, which would be devastating.
Plus, the one stalker I feel isn't adding much to your list.

Bedouin Dynasty: 10000 pts
The Silver Lances: 4000 pts
The Custodes Winter Watch 4000 pts
