Hello everyone,
I have been involved with Games Workshop gaming for the past 13 odd years and heave been in and out of the hobby throughout all that time. I started out in fantasy as a dwarf player and then got involved as an Eldar 40k player (which lead to me loathing 40k). These days I have a dusty Bretonnian army and have just started a brand new Warriors of Chaos army that I am excited to see what becomes of it. I also have a Grey Knights and a Space Wolves army as well ( I was cured of my loathing about 2 years ago).
Apart from GW I don't play any other wargames, but I like to build up my armies quickly (before I run out of steam) and paint them equally as quickly. I love the fluff of the games and am enjoying creating the back story and sagas for my armies. That's about it for me.

Welcome to Dakka! I could see why staring 40k off with Eldar may have put a foul taste in your mouth. They can be incredibly complicated (but I guess that is why I love them).
Good to see another new comer. I hope we can all be helpful and supportive and yadda yadda.
