So, I recently ordered a limited edition mini from coolminiornot and a critical part of it was bent due to how it was packaged. I'm guessing soaking it in hot water and carefully bending it back into the correct shape would be the way to go about this?

I've limited experience with resin figures and I don't want to break it, as the piece it very delicate and it was also expensive.

I use a humidifier. Works really fast and is easy to setup. I used this method on my Death Korps of Krieg.

I would just use water - have both the cold & hot taps running.
Once you've got the piece as straight as possible under the hot, quickly put it under the cold to set the resin.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
