I'm from the future. The future of space

The miniatures are from Khurasan's 15mm sci-fi range (Sepulvedan Resistance Fighters).

The MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle is a repainted Matchbox SWAT vehicle from their 2011 series (still in toy stores for $1.25-1.50 or so). They're all on some cork tile I painted up as a test for post apocalyptic concrete.

The goal for these was good tabletop quality. Basecoat, shade with a wash, 2 highlights.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Some nice minis, wish they were a bigger scale. And excellent paint job.

Eastern Frontier Exploratores
224th Astra Legion (main army)
628th Praetorian Guard Cohort (wife's army)
827th Auxilia Cohort (ad mech fun)
825th Foderati Cohort (in the beginning army)
1212th Foederati Cohort - Jokaero (cause I like apes with guns)

LOL. I find myself looking at all the cool resin stuff being talked about in the News & Rumours section and wishing "If only it were smaller."

The Shire

They look really good for that scale!
I wish I had the balls to try painting something that small!

I basically paint them like they are a small part of a larger miniature. They're no more detailed than a 28mm miniature's leg or arm (well, maybe more than the typical grunt).
