I've been massing a WAAGH for about two months or so and I have probably 4k worth of points...but I'm starting to fall in love with daemons and the fact every time I see ragnar blackmane I drool a little doesn't help...so is it worth staying with the boyz....or is my love for khorne or all things russ a better way to go? I have read probably 35+ space marine novels and I've ALWAYS loved them and will forever be a marine (in my mind)
So long story, well, long should I keep duh boyz or move on to daemons/space wolves? How competitive are those armies? Just overall is it a good choice? (I could also go with dark eldar but daemons just seem to go along with my GK so well...)

The beauty of the game is your models don't have feelings and therefore want hold it against you if you stray to a different army.

Orks are fun and I really like their models, but marines and daemons are much smaller elite armies that won't take too long to assemble a decent sized army.

So my long story short have a change of pace and you will be refreshed to give the greenskins another go later on.

If you have 4k of Orks there's nothing wrong with starting another army...
My question is why are you excited by the Ragnar Blackmane model?
It's probably the ugliest thing in the entire 40k range...

Don't fall in love with demons. Nothing ever good comes from it. Have you ever heard "this is my demon wife, isn't she great"? No, nothing good comes from falling in love with a demon.

To be honest, I give you props. I don't think I could ever build 4000 points of ANYTHING without straying a little.

Try out some wolves, play em for a while get it out of your system. You have to play a lame army to appreciate the good ones.

Well, the blackmane thing comes from the books knowing what a total BA he is and all of their fluff. I would really like a daemons army but im not sure how competitive they cam be and how fun they are to paint...
After just finishing the grey knights omnibus though i love khorne...papa nurgle is always good and who can forget tzeench and slaanesh...
Overall ive always assumed daemons were a "swarm" army but i guess im wrong?
