Im curious in our rulebook it states models in terminator armor cannot embark in rhinos or razorbacks, so does that mean you can transport them in the inquisitoral chimera? Granted its armor is far less than the LR but nothing says they cant use one.

Oh I don't mind, would it make sense for a low points Draigo army to use a pair of chimeras for cheap transport instead of having a dreadnought on the table?

Well to get those chimeras you would need 2 inquisitorial henchman squads, meaning that you need coteaz as a second HQ.
Which by that point means you have quite a few less points for the paladins/draigo. And chimeras aren't a replacement for the long range firepower of a dreadnought in my opinion.

Ah I didn't realize that you still needed Coteaz to unlock chimeras as transport... bummer.

You need Coteaz to make Henchmen Troops. Otherwise you can only take one squad per inquisitor you take.

Dreadnought vs Dreadknight is not really clear cut.
Dreadnoughts can lay out good long range fire, and with grand strategy hold an objective while you take the fight to the enemy.
Dreadknights however can take teleporters, hammers, greatswords, heavy incinerators, all kinds of things. Better for taking the fight to the enemy.
Its all up to you, proxy both and see which one you like best.

I've actually done this strategy, the chimeras and terminator armor.
I brought Coteaz, and took 2, henchmen squads with 12 4pt Warrior acolytes to hold objectives and brought the fight to the enemy!
Another list was 2 Jokeraro weaponsmith warbands ( 3 jokeraros and 9 acolytes for wounds) then 2 bands of psykers (with acolytes for wounds!) dropping S6 AP3 pieplates.. and then Death cultists.. I was able to take a few chimeras. I loaded one up with Paladins, one up with Terminators and away i went. Boy were they surprised when paladins and terminators came out!
It's a much cheaper transport than a Landraider obviously, and their not as big a bullet magnets. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh i also was either popping smoke or using things to obscure, librarian used shrouding for a +1 to that cover save

As long as the terminators don't deploy inside the Chimeras.
If your opponents were surprised by a transport carrying something they watched get in...
(you can't deploy anything inside a dedicated transport other than what bought it)
